Dental health, is there dental teaching hospitals that give free dental care
Saturday, Oct. 9th 2010 9:37 AM
I am in very bad shape and need major gum grafting care.  I am low income but I do have dental insurance for basic dental care. So my current dental insurance will not cover the gum surgery I need.
Are there any teaching hospitals for dental care I can go to that would either be very low cost to me or free? I am willing to drive almost anywhere but not sure how to go about finding places like them.

You would want to look into dental schools and or dental clinics it may be harder to find a school or clinic that will do gum grafting but look into them.
If you are luck then a school and or clinic would be much cheaper then going to an specialist.

You may want to get a dental discount plan and save up to 20 percent for your specialist needs. Just make sure there is a dentist in the plan that does the type of dental work you have to get.

Have you called around dentist that can do the gum grafting you need to see if they will offer you any type of payment plan? Many will if you have good enough credit.
